After a brief hiatus, we’re back with TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 122 and there is a real eclectic mix of topics on the agenda this week. First and foremost, expect discussion regarding Xbox Game Pass, the hottest games like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and future prospects. You can also find out what Gareth, James, Paul and Richard have been up to, which includes talk about the latest TV shows and WrestleMania. What more could you ask for? Be sure to give it a listen!
The team begins with the biggest event on the wrestling calendar, WrestleMania, before praising the Peacemaker TV show. After a quick health update from Paul, it’s time to launch head first into a selection of recently released video games. There’s the match-3 visual novel Princess Farmer, some real-time strategy courtesy of Crusader Kings 3, The Kaito Files Story expansion for Lost Judgment, and the loot-filled adventure that is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Moving on, the focus switches to the launch of Unreal Engine 5, sparking a segment about the games we can look forward to seeing using it, such as the next instalments of the Tomb Raider and The Witcher series’. Additionally, the upcoming Xbox Game Pass additions get a mention as well as the fantastic fundraising efforts of Fortnite. And finally… a quiz hosted by our very own Paul, with the other three hoping to claim victory.

After the recent State of Play, the team are off to Hogwarts to discuss all the magical goings on they can expect from the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy. Our muggles - Gareth, James, Darren and Richard - also have a ton of other things that to chat about in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 121, including a preview of LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, a hands-on with Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin and some considered thoughts regarding plenty of other games too. As is usually the case, this week’s episode begins with what the team have been up to lately, which covers a LEGO Star Wars event, the award-winning drama The Father, and a strange dream. But then, it’s a switch in focus to games; specifically the puzzling adventure The Last Cube, the visual novel Vengeful Heart, quizzing antics in Trivial Pursuit LIVE! 2, the rather scary Poppy’s Playtime, and the aforementioned Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
Aside from wading through the Hogwarts Legacy presentation, there’s a fair bit of news to delve into. Godfall coming to Xbox, the official announcement of The Witcher 4, a new Ghostbusters asymmetrical multiplayer unveiled, and the goings on at The Initiative, all hit our radar. As did the Tekken Bloodline anime that Netflix are making and the potential for the newly announced A Plague Tale TV show.

Another week has passed and that means we have another episode of TheXboxHub Official Podcast ready for your ears. Join us for Episode 115, in which we discuss the latest RPG Edge of Eternity in depth, speculate regarding GTA 6, and unpack everything seen during the Ghostwire Tokyo showcase. As always, there’s also plenty more for you to hear about from the world of gaming, film and TV too.

Catching our attention in the news this week is PlatinumGames’ plea to resurrect Scalebound and the reassurances that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development.
And then there’s a quiz to bring an end to proceedings, with Gareth and James going head to head once more. Will James run rampant once again, or could veteran Gareth steal a rare victory?
