The biggest gaming event of the summer has arrived and so, naturally, we’re diving straight into all of the goings from it. Yes that’s right, TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 137 is a Gamescom 2022 special, with focus on the Opening Night Live and Future Games Show specifically. There’s rarely a quiet week in the gaming world and so it’s no surprise that we’ve got plenty to discuss ahead of Gamescom in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 136. Whether it’s the numerous delays hitting games, or the potential unveiling of a zombie island sequel, nothing comes close to the battle between Sony and Xbox Game Pass. We’re going to discuss the ‘blocking rights’ as well as a whole load of games we’ve been playing like Thymesia and Digimon Survive. So, please give us a listen and enjoy!
Join Gareth, James, Richard and Paul, who have been busy indulging in all kinds of TV and film. You’ll get insight on the Better Call Saul finale, charming Netflix series Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and a classic James Bond offering in the form of Tomorrow Never Dies. In terms of games we can give opinions on, the aforementioned Souls-like Thymesia and the visual novel tactical RPG Digimon Survive are on the agenda. There’s also talk regarding modernised Minesweeper game Tilesweeper, the eerie adventure Kona, arcade shooter After Wave Downfall, roguelike golfing experience Cursed to Golf, turn-based affair Solasta: Crown of the Magister, and the origami-inspired A Tale of Paper: Refolded.

That’s before commenting on the shock canning of the Batgirl movie and the attention-grabbing collaboration between PUBG and Blackpink.

We’ve got opinions on some of the latest games to hit the Xbox, thoughts on the recent Final Fantasy news, a bit of Fall Guys, and even a quiz to put everyone's knowledge to the test.
