Hop on board for another instalment of our weekly podcast, but be sure to buckle up your seatbelts and brace yourself for take-off. As you may have guessed, the team are going to delve into Microsoft Flight Simulator in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 91 as it’s now landed on Xbox Series X|S. Don’t worry if that’s not of interest to you as there’s also a spotlight shining on Omno, Paint the Town Red, The Touryst and more. You can expect plenty of discussion regarding the latest gaming news too, including the Activision Blizzard walkout.
Your crew for this episode consists of Gareth, Paul, and Richard; all of whom have had a rather eventful week. Aside from a double dose of dreadful hangovers, work has taken one of them all the way up to Scotland, while another was busy spending the winnings earned from betting against England at the Euros.
In terms of games they’ve been playing recently, Microsoft Flight Simulator is obviously the most anticipated of them all and you can finally find out if it’s a perfect launch, or whether it suffers from any technical hiccups. Other than that though, you can expect the lowdown on the puzzling adventure Omno, the latest FMV (full motion video) game Night Book, the action packed brawler Paint the Town Red, the newest Watch Dogs Legion DLC, the relaxing platform antics of The Touryst, and twin-stick shooter Trigger Witch.
Once you’ve had your fill of games, it’s time to focus on the hottest topics in the gaming world. That leads the trio to chat about the impressive Unreal Engine 5 demo, the fact that the Xbox Series X and S are the fastest selling Xbox consoles to date, and the Activision Blizzard walkout. There’s also news surrounding upcoming Netflix game-related projects, the delay to Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and much, much more.
