After all the excitement, the dust may have settled, but it’s definitely not over until TheXboxHub team shares their thoughts on the latter stages of E3 2021. We’ve got Gareth, James, Darren and Richard wading through the best and worst of four more showcases. Expect TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 87 to cover what Nintendo, Square Enix, Capcom and even Bandai Namco, were showing off. The episode begins with insight from Darren and Richard in regards to the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, before all four participants move onto the rest of the events since then. There’s Nintendo of course, which featured the likes of WarioWare Get It Together, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, Metroid Dread, a Breath of the Wild sequel, Advance Wars, and more. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy takes the limelight for Square Enix, while The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin were amongst those catching our eye at Capcom. And then we have Bandai Namco, which stirred up some strong opinions from the quartet.
Upon delving into those digital events and running through the line-up for the rest of the year, the conversation moves onto analysing E3 2021 as a whole. This includes picking the best moments, debating whether PlayStation should have been present, and pondering what the future holds for E3.

The Summer Game Fest is well underway and now it’s time to find out what went down during the Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 event in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 85. Gareth, James, Richard and William unite for TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 84, sharing their thoughts on the highs and lows in the immediate aftermath. Before the barrage of E3 2021 news takes over, TheXboxHub team are back to fill the void and tell you about some of the latest games on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC - amongst other things. Join Gareth, James and Darren as they delve into Train Station Renovator, Super Animal Royale, Let’s Build a Zoo, Just Die Already, and more. TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 83 is also going to deliver a few interesting news items ahead of the big event. So please, enjoy our musings!
To kick off this episode, the trio talk about recently venturing into the world to experience the likes of pubs and cinemas. There’s also been plenty of streaming at home with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, while someone watched a documentary involving David Arquette and his quest for redemption. And if that doesn’t pique your interest, then the idea of a live-action game of Among Us might do the trick.
As for the actual games they’ve been playing, you can expect the good and the bad to be discussed. Find out if they enjoyed tidying up rundown buildings in Train Station Renovator, wandering around and trying to survive in Super Animal Royale, and the arcade-y infinite running of Sure Footing. That’s not all though, with Let’s Build a Zoo beta, My Child Lebensborn and Just Die Already given time in the spotlight too.
In regards to the news, an experiment saw an exceptionally large number of people successfully coexist in a server, a follow-up to Two Point Hospital has been leaked, and Square Enix wants people to suggest names for their Pride mascot. Unsurprisingly, Santa Monica Studio confirmed that the next chapter of God of War has been pushed back.
And finally, the Metacritic inspired quiz returns for one final outing, with James and Darren battling for the ultimate bragging rights. Who wins this last encounter?

With reveals and announcements coming at us from all angles, it’s time to try and digest everything in our weekly podcast. Attempting to do so are Gareth, James and Paul, who also have a number of games already out in the wild to share their opinions on. Get ready for TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 82 to feature Horizon Forbidden West, Far Cry 6, Rust, An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs, Long Ago: A Puzzle Tale, and more. There’s even talk about a couple of the latest films to hit streaming services. So, you won’t want to miss it.
While having a catch up, the opening segment goes from the Europa League final to reminiscing about comedy TV series that hold up well today. Despite having busy weeks, two thirds of the team have seen Army of the Dead on Netflix, while Amazon Prime had an interesting offering in the form of Palm Springs.
Talk then turns to what they’ve been playing in the past seven days, which unearths a real variety of games. Expect to learn more regarding the brutal world of survival experience Rust, the ball rolling conundrums of Long Ago: A Puzzle Tale, the bizarre yet absorbing nature of An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs, and the nostalgic Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection. Someone also went old school with Skyrim and wonders how good it plays nowadays.
And finally, the trio focus on the exciting gameplay unveilings that have arisen recently, starting with the gorgeous journey into Horizon Forbidden West. There's also new footage to discuss from the next instalment of The Dark Pictures Anthology, titled House of Ashes. Then they move onto another highly anticipated sequel, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which certainly provided great insight into the parkour zombie action. Last, but least, is Far Cry 6 and its incredible DIY weapons - as well as an unforgettable animal companion.

It’s time for another instalment of our weekly podcast, with Gareth, James and Richard in place to chat about all things gaming, as well as anything else catching their interest. In TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 81, you can expect the team to delve into games like Mass Effect, discuss latest news surrounding Xbox Game Pass, and share their thoughts on some of the hottest TV series such as Love, Death + Robots. This week, the trio have been enjoying lots of film and TV. The verdict is officially in for the Mortal Kombat film reboot, there’s praise for Mare of Easttown, and Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots Volume II threw up a couple of intriguing episodes. In terms of games, there’s the lowdown on the Mass Effect Legendary Edition remastered compilation, the latest DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Wardrobe: Even Better Edition, Disaster Report 4, and Bunny Factory. And then they turn to the news, which features the upcoming Xbox Game Pass additions, the reformation of the team behind TimeSplitters, and the changes Xbox are making as part of Global Accessibility Awareness Day.
To close out the episode, Gareth puts James and Richard in the spotlight for another Metacritic inspired quiz. Can Richard end the hot streak that James is currently on, or will the champion’s reign continue?

Can you believe that it’s already been six months since the Xbox Series X was released into the wild? Well, that’s just one of the subjects on the agenda for TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 80, with our team sharing their thoughts so far. There’s also chatter about Resident Evil Village, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, Pokemon Snap, and much, much more within this episode. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy our latest musings.
This week, host Gareth is joined by Richard and William, who begin by letting us know what they’ve done in the last week or so. Things quickly move on to gaming though, with the trio giving their verdicts on the scary Resident Evil Village, the survival experience of Subnautica: Below Zero, the multiplayer action of Hood: Outlaws & Legends, and the photo-centric Pokemon Snap. There’s also talk about Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Dishonored 2, and Flowing Lights.
In regards to what news has caught our attention, there’s plenty to delve into, such as what projects The Coalition are working on, when we’ll eventually set sail in Skull & Bones, and what to expect from the upcoming EA Play showcase. Other notable bits of news include Dungeons and Dragons coming to Xbox Game Pass, the impending Battlefield 6 reveal, and the amount of games currently in development at PlayStation Studios.
The final segment gives Gareth, Richard and William the chance to discuss the Xbox Series X. Now that the honeymoon phase is over, what do they really think about the latest console and the power it possesses? You’ll have to tune in to find out whether there’s praise or criticism heading its way.

It’s time for TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 79, our weekly podcast that’s full of absolutely everything, but mostly gaming. In this episode, Returnal is just one of a handful of tough games on the agenda, alongside Super Meat Boy Forever and Pato Box. Lend your ears to the sounds of Gareth, James and Darren, who begin by delving into the hot topics outside of gaming. It’s all been happening during ‘Golden Week’, with Invincible and Line of Duty reaching their season finales - albeit with a mixed response. Excitement is building for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while one of the team is extra happy having recently picked up a fancy new piece of tech.
As for what games they’ve been playing lately, the trio have really got stuck into some pretty hardcore experiences. Expect to hear about the repeated deaths and failures, as well as the enticing aspects, of Returnal, Super Meat Boy Forever and Pato Box. Other games discussed include the renovation focused Tools Up!, the newest FMV in the form of Dark Nights with Poe and Munro, and visual novel Cinders.
Despite being a slow news week in general, there are still items of interest such as the announcement for the free-to-play The Division: Heartland, the slew of games getting an FPS boost, and the Tribeca Games award nominees. And finally, there’s just enough time to talk about a dedicated Red Dead Online community putting a lot of effort into their role-playing antics.

Welcome to the latest instalment of our weekly podcast, featuring anything and everything from the world of gaming as well as various interesting topics outside of this realm. In TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 78, you’ll hear about a special film at the Oscars, what we think about EA’s FIFA Ultimate Team cash cow, and much more. There’s even discussion regarding Judgment, Before I Forget, Resident Evil 7 and other games, so don’t miss it!
Kicking off this week’s show are Gareth, James and Richard, with the latter launching straight into informing everyone about the Class Action Park documentary he’s been watching. James now has a collection of vinyl records and explains the premise of medical drama Rush, while Gareth spent the week indulging in Call My Agent on Netflix.
If you’re wanting to know the ins and outs of the latest games, as well as a few interesting older titles, then our trio has you covered. Whether it’s the Yakuza spinoff Judgment, Before I Forget delving into the perils of dementia, or the brawling of WarDogs: Red’s Return, something will grab your attention. The likes of Resident Evil 7, Moving Out, and the next-gen version of The Sinking City also get a mention.
And speaking of Resident Evil, thoughts are shared in relation to the Re:Verse delay, which comes as no surprise. Elsewhere in the world of news, Oscar-winning short film ‘Colette’ possess gaming ties, while EA appear to be putting all of their eggs in the FIFA Ultimate Team basket in order to squeeze more money out of players.
To close out the show, Richard hosts a quiz which pits Gareth against James to see who can remember which games a selection of memorable quotes are from. Have a listen and try to get more correct than our gaming ‘experts’.
