After a lengthy hiatus, TheXboxHub team returns to look ahead to the most anticipated titles coming out in 2023 like Starfield and Redfall, as well as going over the usual segments. There’s also bad news regarding the upcoming release Skull and Bones. So get ready to hear about games, games, and even more games in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 148, with a little bit of TV and film thrown in for good measure.
Kicking off the new year are Gareth, Paul, and Richard. First up on the agenda are some viewing recommendations such as the rather dark horror The Menu, the big budget Avatar: The Way of Water and Apple TV+’s spy thriller Slow Horses.
And then the focus turns to the games, with thoughts on what our trio have been playing lately. There’s sure to be something to pique your interest as High on Life, God of War Ragnarök, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom and Backpack Twins get time in the spotlight.
Moving on to the upcoming games that the team are most looking forward to getting their hands on, and it’s a real mixed bag. The obvious big hitters such as Starfield, Redfall, and Forza Motorsport are mentioned alongside Coffee Talk 2, Deliver Us Mars, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. With news of Skull and Bones being delayed again, it’s slipping further down the pecking order.

Oh what an episode we have this week for you in the build up to Halloween, which is headlined by an exclusive interview with the Game Director behind The Devil in Me. That’s right, TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 145 provides an insight on the upcoming horror title from Supermassive Games. There’s also another big hitter in the spotlight as a review of the recent Gotham Knights is shared, so don’t miss it.

Alternatively, you may wish to enjoy the narrative of Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo, lead a team of heroes in Fallen Legion Revenants, or explore a mysteriously puzzling world in OneShot: World Machine Edition.

Our latest instalment is here, with this year’s EGX at the top of the agenda in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 141, alongside an exclusive interview for an upcoming puzzling adventure title. We’ve got highlights and lowlights, followed by an exclusive interview regarding the lovely sci-fi adventure Planet of Lana.
In regards to what the team has played lately, you can expect thoughts about new and old games alike. There’s something for everyone; whether it’s the delightful zoo management sim Let’s Build a Zoo, the socio-political FMV The Gallery, first-person shooter Prodeus, the furious fighting antics of LEGO Brawls, Korean horror White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, futuristic warfare of Battlefield 2042, or the hack and slash action of Chivalry 2. Initial impressions of FIFA 23 are also given.
And last, but not least, the delay to Skull & Bones is discussed as well as the recent GTA leaks, as we ponder what impact both incidents may have.
