It’s been a slow news week, but fortunately for you our team still has a shed load of games to chat about, including Deliver Us Mars and DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos. There’s even a quiz, so be sure to tune in and give a listen to TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 153.
Join Gareth, James, Paul, and Neil as they discuss all sorts in the opening segment regarding what they’ve been up to recently. The Elvis film gets a mention alongside someone’s birthday plans, a trip to the butchers and an online concert for a rookie Kpop group, tripleS. What more could you ask for?
If you’re here for gaming opinions though, the variety of titles covered in this episode is impressive. Expect the likes of sci-fi experience Deliver Us Mars, the mythical action of The Pathless, co-op puzzler We Were Here Forever, the classic with a twist Project SNAQE, and 3D adventure Togges, to be on the agenda. There’s another too, but it’s a bit of a mouthful - Puzzle Bobble 2X/BUST-A-MOVE 2 Arcade Edition & Puzzle Bobble 3/BUST-A-MOVE 3 S-Tribute.
Focus then switches to DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos, simply because James attended a special online demo event ahead of its release. You’ll get insight into the upcoming action-adventure and will be able find out which of your favourite DC characters are appearing in it.
Following that is a carefully curated quiz by Gareth, with the other team members fighting it out for bragging rights. It’s a cracker you won’t want to miss.

Reaching such an important milestone like 150 and coinciding with the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct is surely fate. Therefore, in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 150 we’re going to discuss the latest showcase, but that’s not all as it’s also an opportunity to see whether Forspoken is being fairly or unfairly criticised. In this week’s episode, expect to hear the vocal delights of Gareth, James, Paul, and Richard. After a brief catch-up, where Our Flag Means Death comes highly recommended, attention turns straight to the big showcase.
Every aspect of the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct is delved into, with unbiased opinions given on the games featured. You’ll hear whether Minecraft Legends has done enough to draw us in, if Forza Motorsport could be a petrolhead’s dream, and what the team thought about the world of Redfall. While the next chapter of Elder Scrolls Online didn’t quite grab our attention, there’s plenty of positive chatter in regards to the surprise unveiling of Hi-Fi Rush at least.
And finally, the gang couldn’t finish without sharing what games they’ve been playing recently. It’s a real eclectic mix as the much criticised PlayStation exclusive Forspoken is judged alongside the likes of Persona 3 Portable, Chasing Static, and Gundam Evolution.

After a lengthy hiatus, TheXboxHub team returns to look ahead to the most anticipated titles coming out in 2023 like Starfield and Redfall, as well as going over the usual segments. There’s also bad news regarding the upcoming release Skull and Bones. So get ready to hear about games, games, and even more games in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 148, with a little bit of TV and film thrown in for good measure.
Kicking off the new year are Gareth, Paul, and Richard. First up on the agenda are some viewing recommendations such as the rather dark horror The Menu, the big budget Avatar: The Way of Water and Apple TV+’s spy thriller Slow Horses.
And then the focus turns to the games, with thoughts on what our trio have been playing lately. There’s sure to be something to pique your interest as High on Life, God of War Ragnarök, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom and Backpack Twins get time in the spotlight.
Moving on to the upcoming games that the team are most looking forward to getting their hands on, and it’s a real mixed bag. The obvious big hitters such as Starfield, Redfall, and Forza Motorsport are mentioned alongside Coffee Talk 2, Deliver Us Mars, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. With news of Skull and Bones being delayed again, it’s slipping further down the pecking order.
