Our latest instalment is here, with this year’s EGX at the top of the agenda in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 141, alongside an exclusive interview for an upcoming puzzling adventure title. There are also opinions regarding lots of very different games, including - but not limited to - Let’s Build a Zoo, LEGO Brawls and Prodeus. We’ve got a few things to say about the GTA leaks too, so be sure to give it a listen.
Joining Gareth, James and Paul, is newcomer George who gets a grilling from the host, before launching into what we’ve all been up to recently. While some have enjoyed watching the likes of Solar Opposites and Samaritan, others share their experience of EGX London 2022. We’ve got highlights and lowlights, followed by an exclusive interview regarding the lovely sci-fi adventure Planet of Lana.
In regards to what the team has played lately, you can expect thoughts about new and old games alike. There’s something for everyone; whether it’s the delightful zoo management sim Let’s Build a Zoo, the socio-political FMV The Gallery, first-person shooter Prodeus, the furious fighting antics of LEGO Brawls, Korean horror White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, futuristic warfare of Battlefield 2042, or the hack and slash action of Chivalry 2. Initial impressions of FIFA 23 are also given.
And last, but not least, the delay to Skull & Bones is discussed as well as the recent GTA leaks, as we ponder what impact both incidents may have.

We’ve got the likes of Saints Row and eFootball 2023 on the agenda, looking at whether they’re worthy additions to their respective series’ or simply living off past glories. Also on this episode, Paul’s delving into a double dose of downloadable content in the form of The Riftbreaker Metal Terror DLC and the Aliens: Fireteam Elite Pathogen expansion. There’s rarely a quiet week in the gaming world and so it’s no surprise that we’ve got plenty to discuss ahead of Gamescom in TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 136. Whether it’s the numerous delays hitting games, or the potential unveiling of a zombie island sequel, nothing comes close to the battle between Sony and Xbox Game Pass. We’re going to discuss the ‘blocking rights’ as well as a whole load of games we’ve been playing like Thymesia and Digimon Survive. So, please give us a listen and enjoy!

In terms of games we can give opinions on, the aforementioned Souls-like Thymesia and the visual novel tactical RPG Digimon Survive are on the agenda. There’s also talk regarding modernised Minesweeper game Tilesweeper, the eerie adventure Kona, arcade shooter After Wave Downfall, roguelike golfing experience Cursed to Golf, turn-based affair Solasta: Crown of the Magister, and the origami-inspired A Tale of Paper: Refolded.
