We’re back with another instalment of our weekly podcast and this week it’s largely dominated by EA’s latest presentation. There’s also plenty to discuss regarding FIFA 22 and the future of its biggest rival, eFootball. So, if you want the lowdown on that as well as everything from EA Play Live 2021, which featured the likes of GRID Legends, Battlefield 2042 and Dead Space, then be sure to give TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 90 a listen.

Join Gareth, James and Paul, who appear to have had a fairly quiet and uneventful week outside of gaming. Hence, after a swift catch-up and a bit of Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 chatter, it’s time to dive straight into what was seen during EA Play Live 2021. Expect to hear our verdict on the show and hosting quality, while talking about the following games:

It’s been an interesting week for the two big football game giants too, with those in charge of both FIFA and PES (now eFootball) unveiling some of their plans for the upcoming releases. EA unloaded a whole load of FIFA 22 gameplay details, while Konami opted to go for a completely new approach by rebranding the long-running series as eFootball and outlining their decision to go free-to-play. Prepare for a pretty deep dive into these two, which leaves just about enough time to finish by unpacking the decision by Netflix to start adding games to their streaming service.
