TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 131 is here and that means another episode full of gaming opinions. Toxic fans have hit our radar this week, but there’s also a load of new games that we’re able to give our thoughts on including a rare surfing experience and another offering from the Jackbox series.
Join Gareth, James, Darren and Paul for all kinds of discussion ranging from a trip to Ikea, to concerns about Sky Glass. More importantly though, is a focus on the toxicity within the gaming community, especially in relation to recent incidents involving God of War Ragnarok and Return to Monkey Island. On a lighter note, there’s a quiz that you simply won’t want to miss.

We’ve got opinions on some of the latest games to hit the Xbox, thoughts on the recent Final Fantasy news, a bit of Fall Guys, and even a quiz to put everyone's knowledge to the test. This week’s episode starts off with Gareth, James, Richard, and Paul having a catch up by sharing what they’ve been up to lately. There’s all sorts on the agenda with Netflix’s Web of Make Believe series, Amazon’s The Boys, and a health update from Paul, being just a few of the highlights.
The team then turns their attention to the cavalcade of games they’ve been indulging in. It’s a relatively quiet time in terms of AAA releases at the moment, but that doesn’t mean our team has nothing to talk about. Far from it, with a selection of interesting games like Whiskey & Zombies to provide opinions on as well as news regarding the future of FIFA, a monstrous invasion in Call of Duty Warzone, and a surprising decision involving Gotham Knights. Following our Atari Special, we’re ready to widen our scope to incorporate everything and anything going on in gaming right now. Expect to hear about a selection of games the team are currently invested in, including a JRPG, a run ‘n’ gun type experience, the latest adventure from LEGO Star Wars, a spooky take on Tokyo, and a couple more. After a brief hiatus, we’re back with TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 122 and there is a real eclectic mix of topics on the agenda this week. First and foremost, expect discussion regarding Xbox Game Pass, the hottest games like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and future prospects. You can also find out what Gareth, James, Paul and Richard have been up to, which includes talk about the latest TV shows and WrestleMania. What more could you ask for? Be sure to give it a listen!
The team begins with the biggest event on the wrestling calendar, WrestleMania, before praising the Peacemaker TV show. After a quick health update from Paul, it’s time to launch head first into a selection of recently released video games. There’s the match-3 visual novel Princess Farmer, some real-time strategy courtesy of Crusader Kings 3, The Kaito Files Story expansion for Lost Judgment, and the loot-filled adventure that is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Moving on, the focus switches to the launch of Unreal Engine 5, sparking a segment about the games we can look forward to seeing using it, such as the next instalments of the Tomb Raider and The Witcher series’. Additionally, the upcoming Xbox Game Pass additions get a mention as well as the fantastic fundraising efforts of Fortnite. And finally… a quiz hosted by our very own Paul, with the other three hoping to claim victory.
